Dutch LaTeX Forum founded

The Nederlandstalig LaTeX Forum has been founded by Frank Puttemans today. It’s a LaTeX Forum in Dutch language. Especially Dutch-speaking LaTeX users are invited to join the forum, to ask questions and to answer questions of other users. The first forum post has been written today, there’s more to come.

CTAN will drop tools

Today Jim Hefferon, member of the CTAN team, announced that CTAN will not continue to provide the tools directory containing mostly archiving software and conversion programs.

New version 3.19 of UK TeX FAQ

Robin Fairbairns has released a new version of the famous UK TeX FAQ. v3.19 is containing 10 new answers to frequently asked questions and many answers have been revised.

New monospaced font on CTAN: Inconsolata

The Inconsolata font package has been released on CTAN yesterday. Inconsolata is a monospaced (“typewriter”) font designed for code listings and the like by Raph Levien. It’s supporting several encodings including T1, OT1 and LY1.
